Our delicious hazelnuts are from chemical-free orchards in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. They are a combination of Yam Hill, Jefferson and Wepster varietals. Our hazelnuts are dried and shelled at 92º F. They are especially delicious when sprouted. Because they are so fresh, they are still quite soft. If you like your nuts crunchy then dehydrate them, or put them in a low oven at 200 - 250º for 1 hour, then leave them to cool completely.
