Are all of your nuts and seeds organic?
All our products are either certified organic or organically grown but not certified. Certification is extremely expensive and can be cost prohibitive for smaller farmers.
Are they raw or pasteurized?
All our products are raw or dehydrated.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all of our products are gluten-free.
Are your products peanut free?
Some of our nuts and seeds are processed in facilities that contain peanuts, a few such as cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, pistachios and walnuts, are considered to be peanut free.
Have any of your products undergone irradiation, gas or steam treatment?
No, none have undergone irradiation or gassing at any time. Learn more here.
How should I store my nuts and seeds?
Except for the dried berries we recommend that all of our foods be refrigerated to preserve taste and keep them fresh.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
At this time we are only able to ship within Canada. Feel free to send us your contact details so that we can contact you if things change in the future.
How long will my order take to be shipped?
We ship our orders out as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days for orders to leave our warehouse. Thanks for your patience. If you have ordered "sprouted items" they make take even longer as we often "sprout on demand". Contact us if you need more specifics on the time frame.
Do you ship for free?
Unfortunately because we offer close to wholesale prices on our food items we can't offer free shipping. However the difference in shipping costs between ordering a 5 pound box of nuts or two 5 pound boxes of nuts is very little. So consider sharing with a friend. That way you can save on shipping costs.
Do you have a storefront? Can I pick up my order to save on shipping?
We do not have a storefront, but orders can be picked up by appointment from our production space at 1664 Renfrew in East Vancouver. Once you have made an online order, you will be sent an email detailing how to schedule a pick up.
