How much does shipping cost?

Shipping rates are calculated using the weight of your order and your postal code.  We ship using Canada Post Expedited, CanPar, FedEx, Purolator and UPS.  The cheapest option will generally appear first, just scroll down and choose your preferred carrier.  You can use the above shipping calculator for an estimate of costs once all your items are in your cart.  

Can I get free shipping?

There is really no such thing as free shipping.  When companies offer "free shipping" they are adding the cost of shipping into the cost of their products.  We choose to keep our products as affordable as possible (and support our local customers who can pick up from our facility,) and instead show you the true shipping costs.  Shipping an extra 5 or 10 pounds only costs marginally more – so making larger less frequent orders can be more economical than smaller more frequent orders. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are usually shipped out within 24 hours from our Vancouver warehouse Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.  Once your order is with the shipping carrier it is out of our control.  We do not offer guaranteed overnight shipping, only ground shipping, so there is generally no service over the weekends.  We cannot guarantee delivery times and are not responsible for delays.  However, if it has been more than a week and it seems to be "stuck in transit" reach out to us and we will put a trace on it.

Can I ship to a P.O.Box?

Yes, at this time Canada Post "Expedited" is the only shipper that does so.  Please ensure you choose this option at check-out.

How do I track my order?

An email with your tracking number will be sent to you once your order is processed and with the carrier.  Please note it can sometimes take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to be updated by the carriers.

How do I make a return?

The quality of our product is of the utmost importance to us.  If you are unsatisfied with your product for any reason please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.  We refrigerate all our nuts and seeds to maintain freshness and we recommend you always do the same.  Please note that variations in texture, taste and colour are normal and is to be expected in raw and natural products.
If your order is damaged due to shipping, is incorrect, or missing, please report it to us immediately.  Keep the packaging and all items to help us in reporting the claim to the shipping carriers.  Photos may also be required.

Orders over $300 – Signature Required

When we ship orders of more than $300 our default is to have the customer sign when receiving the order.
If this is your situation and you wish the package delivered to your address without requiring a signature, then enter the tracking number at the courier's website and toggle off the "required signature"option. By doing so, you acknowledge that should the order not be delivered, NUT•HUT assumes no obligation to replace or refund the order.
