Cacao Cashew Mylkshake
One of my favorite afternoon pick-me-ups these days is a little powerhouse of a protein drink. It is super adaptable and fast to whip up.
Soak a handful of cashews, (if you haven't done this in advance, just add a bit of hot water to them), and remember to ALWAYS use ethically fair trade sourced cashews, which is ALL we sell.
Toss them in your blender, then add some sprouted hazelnuts, (I have a batch that I roasted at 250 for an hour that enhance the flavour of them even more).
Add a teaspoon of tahini, a tablespoon of cacao nibs, a teaspoon of cacao if you want even more chocolate flavour,
1/3 cup of coconut milk (you can freeze this first to make everything that much more deliciously cold!)
Add sweetener of choice - I used maple syrup, you could also use our dates.
Add a few ice cubes Blend. Serve. So good.
It’s strange but that little bit of tahini makes it so good.
If you don’t have a high speed blender skip the cacao nibs and just use the powder.
This is the perfect hot afternoon indulgence. It’s like a good for you Nutella drink. .
